Cory Stout
Founding and resident artist. Abstract paintings moving between color-field geometry and gesture.
Biography
Cory Stout lives and works in Los Angeles. His abstract paintings range from hard-edged blocks of color to loose, gestural fields.
Practice
Stout works between two poles of abstraction: measured, architectural color blocks and free, atmospheric gesture. Each canvas tests how much structure a color can hold.
