Founding Artist, Month to Month · Painting · Los Angeles
Evan Moore
Founding artist. Figurative paintings of performers, fighters and quiet portraits.
Biography
Evan Moore lives and works in Los Angeles. His canvases move between the spectacle of the stage and the ring — pole dancers, boxers, pop icons — and quieter, close-cropped portraits.
Practice
Moore paints the body at work — mid-routine, mid-fight, mid-thought. Bold fields of color frame figures caught in motion, balancing the theatrical with the intimate.
